Horsens Golf Club has taken a significant step towards more efficient and targeted member communication by choosing GLFR as their official club app. With GLFR Business as the central platform for publishing news and updates, the club has gained a modern and reliable tool for direct communication with its members.
After just a few months of use, 967 out of approximately 1,200 members have adopted the GLFR club app – a number that reflects both strong acceptance and the app’s relevance in the club’s daily communication.
Golf Manager Ronny Kert shares:
“It has become much easier for us to share information with our members. We can publish news in just a few minutes, and it’s presented in an attractive, engaging, and professional way in the app.”

In close collaboration with GLFR, the club has integrated the app with their website, Facebook page, and the Mit Golf app. When creating a news item in GLFR Business, the club can choose exactly which channels it should be distributed through – whether as a push notification in the GLFR app, a post on the website, a share on Facebook, or a display in the Mit Golf app. This flexible channel management allows the club to communicate efficiently without duplicating efforts, and with a consistent visual identity across platforms.

Ronny emphasizes that GLFR not only improves distribution but also strengthens the club’s digital presence:
“The news is displayed in a layout that looks professional and inviting. It grabs attention and makes it easier to engage our members.”
The user-friendly system enables staff to respond quickly when information needs to be sent out – for example, about tournaments, course maintenance, updates, or events. As such, GLFR serves as a central tool for the club, contributing to both higher member satisfaction and a more efficient internal workflow.
