How it all started

The GLFR journey began in Aarhus, Denmark, when our founder, Jacob “Jam” S. Markussen, combined his passion for golf with a background in IT Product Development. From university projects to real-world prototypes, the vision was always clear: to make golf better through technology.

Over a decade later, GLFR has become a trusted platform used by golfers and clubs across Europe – and we’re just getting started.
